Formwork Panels & Other Components
MDFS Aluminium Formwork panels are comparatively on the stronger side than many other players in the market. The load bearing capacity of our MDFS Wall Panel is is 67.5 KN as per test done by NABL
Standard Wall Panel size is 2400mmX600mm and the panel weighs 27.6 Kg: The frame width is 65mm and the frame profile thickness is variable between 6mm to 8mm. The concrete contact surface is 4mm with tolerance of 0.1mm.
Standard Deck Panel size is 1200mmX600mm and the panel weighs 14.6 Kg: The frame width is 65mm and the frame profile thickness is variable between 6mm to 8mm. The concrete contact surface is of 4mm with tolerance of 0.1mm
The standard panels are made up of 2 extruded L-Sections of 300mm through Friction Stir Welding. Stiffeners (U and h for wall panels and I– Stiffeners for Deck Panels ) are fixed on the rear side of the panels using Robotic Welding/ Manual Welding.
All other components e.g Internal Corner, ECA, Rocker, SL, Kicker etc. are made out of Extruded Aluminium profiles of 6mm thickness.
Lacquer (ideally 25 gsm) is applied on the contact surface of the Aluminium Panels & Components in order to shield it from probable ambient reactions from the time of storage and shipment from MDFS production unit to client site until form oil is poured.
